Katherine Quin Merewether (Kat)
DESIGN ON Q OWNER/ DESIGNER/ ILLUSTRATOR

Kat Q Merewether is a business woman, a graphic designer, illustrator but above all she is an artist. As well as running Design on Q, she regularly brings publications to life with her captivating illustration work. She also manages to adapt her style to parallel the stories she illustrates, using her vast experience and technique to breathe creativity into each project.

Although passionate about the traditional illustration techniques, Kat has also embraced new technologies and literally paints on the computer with the finished product looking as though it was done by hand. Her work has a universal appeal and strikes a chord with both the older and younger audiences.

Kat is also proud to employ and work with a very talented team of creatives that together make up Design on Q.

Ian Krippner
GRAPHIC DESIGNER/ ILLUSTRATOR

Ian has been a Graphic Designer at Design on Q since 2007. Ian is a very talented digital artist, illustrator, graphic designer and is also our office IT go-to guy. If anyone ever has a question relating to our design software or technical issues, Ian is our first port of call. In 2011 Ian won the Waipa Chamber of Commerce Employee of the Month, and later was nominated and received a Certificate of Commendation - Employee of the Year for the 2011 Waipa District Business Awards.


Lisa
GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Lisa joined Design on Q in 2013, after graduating with a Graphic Design degree fromWINTEC in Hamilton. She brings a fresh approach, new ideas and is a pleasure to work with. Lisa is a very fast learner and has fantastic illustration and typography skills which she regularly puts to use in her projects. We are very lucky to have her talent on the team.
